BlueSprig January 30, 2024

If you’re new to the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) or just interested in learning more, you might be curious about the distinction between Behavior Technicians (BTs) and The Registered Behavior Technician® (RBT®). Understanding ABA therapy will be important in understanding the roles of BTs and RBTs. This type of therapy focuses on the process of behavior change by employing reinforcement techniques to increase or decrease targeted behavior, while also enhancing socialization, communication, learning skills, and other developmental milestones. ABA therapy is widely recognized as the most effective behavioral intervention for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
