Start your career at BlueSprig by becoming a behavior technician!

Behavior Technician

If you have a passion for working with children, BlueSprig is the place for you! We are currently hiring behavior technicians at our 140+ locations.

What is a behavior technician?

A Behavior Technician (BT) is an entry-level position that provides clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to children with autism spectrum disorder.

As a Behavior Technician at BlueSprig, you will provide individualized ABA therapy services to BlueSprig clients in their homes, schools, daycares, or a BlueSprig Center.

Through our training courses and practice with your mentor, you will gain the knowledge to help children learn and implement necessary skills such as social skills, play skills, manners, personal care, safety skills, life skills, and more!

Paid Training and Support

Our dedicated Learning and Performance Development (LPD) Department empowers team members at every level of the organization to change the world for children with autism by creating an innovative learning culture informed by science.

We invest time and resources so that new employees have a successful onboarding experience to help them understand their new roles and responsibilities while learning about BlueSprig’s values and culture. We also have a library of resources available to employees who are seeking to shine in their field, refine proficiencies and gain new skillsets.

In the role of a Behavior Technician, you will receive paid training and support as you learn the basics of ABA therapy and have the opportunity to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through our training. During the training, participants will take online modules, participate in live reviews of the material, and have hands-on practice with clients with the goal of passing the RBT certification. The RBT certification process takes roughly 85 hours for BTs who are new to the field with little to no experience. Once the 85 hours are complete, you will be able to receive certification by passing the RBT exam.
