Trumpet’s Gift Giving Guidelines

Joshua Sleeper December 3, 2019

The holiday season is upon us, and with it comes the sentiment of gift-giving. During this time of the year, we like to remind families of our company policy on giving and receiving gifts. Working with your child and your family is more than enough of a gift for the Trumpet team, and we treasure the opportunity to serve as your professional service provider. Accordingly, our company policy states that team members cannot accept gifts from families so we can abide by our code of ethics.

Why Don’t We Accept Gifts?

Our job is to help your child reach their full potential, and to do that efficiently, we need to prioritize our professional relationship with your child and your family. Gift giving can create dual relationships, which can have potential harmful effects on your child’s treatment plan. For this reason, Trumpet team members cannot accept gifts or attend client holiday parties outside of the Trumpet office.

How Can I Show My Thanks?

At Trumpet, we truly value serving as your partner in helping your child thrive. If you feel the need to show additional thanks during this time of the year, a simple, verbal “thank you” will more than suffice!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the clinician on your case at any time.
