Amanda George, PhD, BCBA, LBA

Amanda George, PhD, BCBA, LBA, has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She has been with BlueSprig Pediatrics for nearly seven years and currently serves as the Clinic Director of the Glendale, Arizona, center. In addition to her clinical work, Amanda is an adjunct professor at Purdue Global University and Walden University, where she teaches graduate-level courses in Applied Behavior Analysis and Forensic Psychology.

Amanda holds a master’s degree and a PhD in Forensic Psychology, with a focus on criminal psychology. She is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). She is also currently pursuing a master’s degree in legal studies, with the long-term goal of earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Amanda’s clinical interests in ABA include the assessment and treatment of severe problem behaviors, including aggression, self-injurious behavior (SIB), and property destruction. She is particularly interested in identifying and teaching functionally appropriate replacement behaviors that provide individuals with effective alternatives to challenging behavior. Additional areas of interest include impulsivity, coping skills, and the application of behavior-analytic principles to support adaptive behavior and improve outcomes for individuals with complex behavioral needs.
