In-Home ABA Therapy & Autism Treatment
Our Registered Behavior Technicians are available to provide one-on-one treatment to your child in the comfort of your home. Our team will assess your child’s needs to determine the best home-based ABA therapy plan for them.

What Is In-Home ABA Therapy?
In-home ABA therapy refers to Applied Behavior Analysis delivered in the comfort of your child’s home. Sessions are led by a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Therapy in the home setting focuses on skills such as communication, daily living routines, and emotional regulation—practiced right where they naturally occur. This allows children to build independence and confidence in familiar surroundings while giving caregivers the opportunity to actively participate.
Compared to center-based ABA therapy, in-home therapy emphasizes real-world application and convenience, while still following the same evidence-based practices to support your child’s growth.
Preparing for Home-Based ABA Therapy Programs
Home-based ABA therapy offers convenience and flexibility, but having the right setup helps your ABA therapist provide the most effective care.
Dedicated Space
The best space for home-based ABA therapy sessions doesn’t have distractions. For example, a room that doesn’t have a TV or other electronic devices.
It’s also a good idea to use the same space for every session to promote consistency and allow your child to feel comfortable within that space. You can discuss which areas would work best with your Board Certified Behavior Analyst when they first arrive in your home.
Tools
A comfortable learning environment with developmentally appropriate materials is important for ABA therapy. A child-sized table and chairs are recommended. During therapy sessions, your ABA therapist might use sensory tools, toys, puzzles, or other items. It’s best to store these items away when they’re not in use. This helps keep them special and effective for therapy sessions.
Get Involved & Be Available
Caregivers, parents, and siblings can go about their normal routines in the home during therapy sessions. There must always be a responsible adult present and available in case we would like to bring you into the session. We encourage parents to observe and participate in ABA therapy and your Board Certified Behavior Analyst will review expectations with you.
If you’re looking for ABA therapy for your child, but are not sure if Home-Based therapy is the best option, our intake specialists are here to help.
