Dr. Stewart Pisecco

About

For the past 20 years, Dr. Stewart Pisecco’s work has focused on the development of digital interventions that support the implementation of evidence-based interventions for disruptive child behavior. His current venture, Attend Behavior supports the delivery of parent training services for children with Autism. Dr. Pisecco began his career at the University of Houston where he was a tenured Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology. While at the university, he was the recipient of the College of Education’s Research Excellence Award and recognized for his high level of research productivity. Dr. Pisecco is a former Fulbright Research Scholar who worked at the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Research Unit (DMHDRU) a division of the University of Otago Medical School in New Zealand.

In 2007, Dr. Pisecco left the university to start Psychological Software Solutions (PSS), developers of Review360 which is an EdTech platform used by school districts across the country to improve student behavioral outcomes. In 2012, PSS was acquired by Pearson’s Clinical Assessment division (NYSE: PSO) and Dr. Pisecco served on the division’s executive management team and was responsible for the management of a global portfolio of clinical assessments that served both the education and behavioral health markets.  He was also responsible for leading the division’s innovation efforts and growth initiatives in education and healthcare. After leaving Pearson in 2018, Dr. Pisecco has consulted with a variety of early-stage companies and investment groups.
