Rachel Stewart, who currently excels as th Center Operations Specialist at Florida Autism Center in Mount Dora, has dedicated her career to childcare from a young age. Her journey in the field began with babysitting and quickly evolved as she engaged in childcare classes during high school, subsequently transitioning to roles in daycare settings, and eventually securing a position as a long-term nanny. This rich background paved the way for her role as a registered behavior technician (RBT) at the Ocoee Florida Autism Center, where she developed a passion for the operational aspects of the field. Desiring to further her career in operations for advancement opportunities, Rachel made a strategic move to an Operations Assistant position within the Ocoee center. This role allowed her to delve deeply into the nuances of operational management, laying a strong foundation for her current role as an Operations Specialist at the Mount Dora Center, which she began in 2024. Rachel thrives in her operational duties, advocating for children in her care, while still cherishing moments where she can step back into her RBT role when needed. Outside of her professional life, Rachel enjoys a vibrant personal life, spending quality time with her husband, attending local car shows, cooling off with friends by swimming, and indulging in sweet treats after long days, which helps her unwind and recharge.
