School-Based ABA Therapy Services

Helping Children with Autism While They’re at School

We know that when a child’s full support team works together, it can make all the difference for the child and their family. We are proud to partner with school districts, public and private schools, as well as preschools and daycares in the communities we serve. From classroom consultation to professional support, our clinicians are here to collaborate with school districts to ensure better outcomes for students, teachers, and other school district professionals.

What Do ABA Therapists Do in a School Setting?

School-based Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific behavioral issues or deficits. Throughout the school-based therapy process, Board Certified Behavior Analysts will consult, while Registered Behavior Technicians directly implement the treatment plan. Therapy services may involve one-on-one sessions with a RBT, group interventions, or classroom-wide strategies to promote positive behavior.

The goal of school-based ABA therapy is to support students in achieving success both academically and socially while improving their overall quality of life.

Virtual & Remote Learning

We are able to provide virtual (or remote) support to students, families, and educators with 1:1 instruction, parent support, or teacher consultation. For students who are struggling with virtual learning, we can also provide student support within one of our centers.

Classroom Consultations

Classroom consultation enables BlueSprig educational and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to work directly with the teacher and support staff to enhance the overall functioning of their classroom to benefit all students, not just those students with autism. Consultation topics may include, but are not limited to, classroom design, whole group and/or individual incentive and reward systems, and teaching methodologies and supports that help students with special needs learn and reach their potential.

Many students with autism require additional support to learn in a classroom setting. Our talented team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts can work together with educational team members to develop and support the implementation of student-specific behavior and learning plans.
